It’s never too early to book your portrait session! Many clients will book months in advance to get the time/date that works best for their families/businesses. We recommend booking at least four-six weeks in advance to give plenty of time for wardrobe items and beauty appointments to be made. Our end-of-summer and fall dates will be booked out much further in advance. We will schedule your Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting at least a week before your session. If you are on a tighter timeline, reach out for current booking availability.
Deciding where to showcase your portraits is one of the first things we discuss in our Discovery Call. Every family is different. Usually, the stage of life in your family tends to affect portrait placement. For example, families with young kids might want playful wall art for the playroom. Families with high school seniors graduating might wish to have a picture in the main living area where they will be more present in their minds.
When you leave the Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting, you will have a clear idea of placement location and where they may transition after your next stage of family portraits.
During the Design + Order appointment, you will select 40-50 proofs
Immediately following your portrait session is the Design + Order Appointment. When the details are finalized, it takes about 6-8 weeks for the final wall art, albums, and portrait boxes to arrive from Italy! Framing is done locally by a master framer.
Portrait sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM. Saturday morning sessions are typically $395.
