Family Portrait Artwork Installation: McIntosh Family
A family portrait artwork installation lies in the heart of every home, weaving moments of love, laughter, and everyday joys into a beautiful patchwork. Home portraits offer a peek into these intimate tales, capturing the essence of family life with each camera click. This process follows a shared goal: to preserve precious family memories.
Discovery Call
At Block Portrait Studio, the magic starts with the Discovery Call. During this brief phone or video chat, families share stories, aspirations, and the unique quirks that make their home special. Jeannine uses this call to understand the family’s vision and to ignite excitement about bringing their memories to life.
Portrait Planning + Concept Meeting
The next step involves the Portrait Planning + Concept Meeting. Families send room images to determine the best placement for the finished artwork, ensuring a cohesive family portrait installation. During this meeting, they collaborate to finalize the portrait styles and the overall installation. Every detail is carefully considered, from choosing the perfect backdrop to selecting the right frame.
Portrait Session
And now the magic comes alive! Met by Jeannine’s enthusiasm, she creates a space where the family drives the session, working with the kids and the parents to create portraits that truly showcase their love, dynamic, and unity. Together, they create the portraits to be installed in their home later.
Design + Order Appointment
After the portrait session, Jeannine reviews the room images with marked spots for the family portrait installation. The family then selects the wall portraits that best represent them and fit perfectly in the chosen spots, ensuring the artwork will shine.
Installation
Finally, the moment arrives to unveil the finished artwork. With smiles and laughter, families gather around as it’s revealed for the first time. Whether it evokes tears of joy or a round of applause, one thing is certain—it’s more than just a portrait on the wall. It’s a testament to their love for one another and a reminder of shared memories.
