Meet Anna and Suzanne, the talented female duo behind Studios Moss, a creative Saint Paul design firm.

What Do They Do?

They customize unique experiences for retail, experiential marketing, brand activation, and private and commercial events. When clients come to them with an idea or theme, brainstorming begins. The two come up with different ideas and bounce them off each other, finding inspiration from Pinterest and past experiences. Once they figure out what they want to make, the gluing, taping, twisting, and folding begin. The hard work, at times, carries into the wee hours of the night as they bring their ideas to life.

Their Work:

Anna and Suzanne recently designed an entire experience for the Walker Art Center’s Avant Garden Party. They created the dance floor, DJ booth and outdoor backdrops, and tabletop decor. The most notable piece was the custom resin flower swing set designed for guests to swing on. Some past clients include many corporate and non-profit organizations, such as the Galleria, Walker Art Center and the two have also designed weddings. Some of their favorite installations are the ones that are up for extended periods of time and deliver a full experience to the guests.

Favorite & Future Projects:

Anna’s favorite project was their first design together as a business for Some Great People at the Rosedale Center. They created 1000 paper cranes and positioned them to fly out of the pages of the books. In the future, they would love to have a larger team to help with all the meticulous creating tasks. A bucket list gig would be to create an editorial set for a high-end fashion brand.

Past-time:

In their free time, Anna can be found spending time with her family playing games, camping, and hanging around a fire. Susan spends time walking her dog on the west side, traveling, or working on house projects.

Thank you, Studios Moss
