Senior portrait photographer, Jeannine, at Block Portrait Studios photographed Cristian. Crisitan, is a senior class of 2022, is one of the coolest kids you’ll meet. It is obvious he loves all things rock and music. He can play the electric guitar and piano, making him more connected to the music he loves!
First in our Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting, we wanted his love for music and his musical talent to shine in some way. We came up with the concept of making the background of his portraits look like a stage! With the use of light gels and smoke, the stage was set. Of course, if he is on the stage, we had to include his electric guitars in the portraits! The outfit he choose to wear “on stage” was this super sleek black suit to match his nails, with a pop of light in his metallic silver tie giving the look of a classy rock star. After photographing in the studio, we moved to a new location at Raspberry Island in Saint Paul. For this location, he went for the classic rockstar look with a red leather jacket and ripped jeans with a chain accessory. For this portrait, he brought his blue electric guitar to not take away from the red in his jacket.
We designed a beautiful portrait box for his mother and family to enjoy. A portrait box is a great way to have multiple poses with the flexibility of ways to display each portrait. Here is a blog we made about other ways to use your senior pictures.
