Lowertown Saint Paul Senior Portraits | Jamaris

It is always so special to reconnect with friends to photograph their beautiful families. I recently photographed Jamaris’ senior portraits, which was a special treat since his stepmom played softball and basketball with me at junior college in Vermillion.

Jamaris’ senior portrait session kicked off in the studio. He chose a yellow plaid shirt for a dressy yet totally his style, paired with black denim and sneakers. The look was classic, comfortable, and completely him.

Next, we headed downtown St. Paul for a city-inspired vibe. Jamaris slipped into his favorite black hoodie as we wandered around sidewalks with fall leaves and alleyways framed by tall brick buildings for the perfect backdrops. Playing with light, texture, and perspective made for some creative portraits that fit Jamaris’ style.

As the oldest of four and a swimmer at Two Rivers High School, Jamaris’ portraits captured both his playful spirit and quiet confidence. Congratulations, Jamaris! Wishing you an incredible senior year filled with memories and milestones!
