Sometimes as photographer, you never know when a truly special family will come along. One that allows you the honor of capturing not just annual portraits, but the way their connections grow and evolve over time. I’ve been photographing the Young family for over a decade, watching their children grow from tiny preschoolers into confident high schoolers. Witnessing their interests change and their personalities blossom year after year makes my work so unique and fulfilling.

One thing I’ve especially appreciated about this family is Mama Michelle’s impeccable sense of style. Over the years, we’ve curated family outfits that are not only color-coordinated but also reflect activities the family enjoys together and honors each individual family member’s personal style. Such an inspiration every session!

Beyond family portraits, I’ve also had the privilege of photographing business headshots and professional portraits for their family. Most recently, that included, their eldest child, helping to build a polished LinkedIn presence and make a strong first impression for professional opportunities. Such a great add-on for the session! This family’s trust in me to capture all their photography needs, and the referrals they’ve generously shared, have been invaluable. I deeply appreciate their loyalty over the years.

Photographing families consecutively year after year is one of the greatest honors of my work. It’s about more than capturing beautiful images, it’s about witnessing the passage of time and celebrating the relationships that grow, deepen, and strengthen within a family. Every smile, every hug, every candid moment becomes a piece of their family’s story. I always walk away from these sessions feeling grateful to be a part of this family’s journey and to preserve their connections in images that will be treasured for decades.
