Why we schedule a Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting with every session!

We do things a little differently over here in our Saint Paul portrait studio! From your design conception to installation, we assist you in creating portrait art that is true to your style and your family.  We believe we give our kids and relationships confidence by showcasing the ones we love the most on the walls of our homes. We are excited to be on this journey of creating something remarkable for you to enjoy for years to come!!

We specialize in the finished product, meaning wall art for your home or custom-designed albums. To achieve the best product for your family, we schedule three separate appointments with each portrait session.

After you’ve completed your Discovery Call and booked your portrait experience with us, the next step is the Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting.

What is a Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting?

Concept planning is the most important part of the portrait process. It is where we generate ideas to create the most personal and engaging portraits. Together we plan out all of the details before you arrive for your shoot. Then, when you are here, we are focused on getting the shots we planned for that will live on the walls of your home!

Here are some of the things we talk about during the Portrait Planning and Concept Meeting:

  1. WHY NOW
  2. CONCEPT
  3. LOCATION OF ART
  4. TYPE OF ART
  5. STYLE OF PORTRAIT
  6. EMOTION/PERSONALITY
  7. WHAT TO WEAR
