For Mother’s Day, Block portrait Studios hosted a Mother’s Day portrait event, a collaboration with Realtor Marilee Moerke and Dan Dikken with Bell Mortgage. In celebration of the incredible bond between mothers and their families, we launched a giveaway that allowed four families to capture precious moments with family portraits. This event brought together a collective effort to honor and cherish the extraordinary mothers in our community. Vibrant Family Portraits with a Family of Seven!
The first winning family of the Mother’s Day portrait session was a lively bunch of seven. This active clan consisted of two parents and five boisterous children, all under 10. Because of this, their session became a delightful blend of chaos and laughter from the moment they arrived. The children’s infectious giggles and playful interactions filled the room with joy. Furthermore, despite the commotion, the parents embraced the lively atmosphere with grace, cherishing the authentic moments of connection that unfolded. The family portraits captured their vibrant family dynamics, showcasing the sheer happiness and love from each family member. The session perfectly encapsulated the beautiful and sometimes messy realities of parenthood, highlighting the beauty found amid life’s whirlwinds.
Celebrating a Senior!
The third winner of the giveaway was a father who utilized daughter’s high school graduation. Understanding the significance of this milestone in his daughter’s life, he chose Block Portrait Studios to capture these moments. We created a special mini-senior portrait session tailored to the graduate – all in the studio! Despite the shorter session time, the portraits still beautifully encapsulate the essence of her personality and achievements. The results radiated with the excitement and anticipation of a bright future, capturing the daughter’s accomplishments. The session celebrated the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Mother-Daughter Duo Session!
The next family to win the Mother’s Day portrait giveaway was a duo of a daughter and her mother. The daughter, the lucky winner of the session, held a deep admiration and affection for her mother. When asked about her favorite memory of her mom, she responded, “I don’t have an absolute favorite memory of my mom. Every time we get to spend together is my favorite. We are always laughing and getting ourselves into trouble together!” This sentiment beautifully encapsulated their bond—a relationship filled with laughter and mischief. Their portraits reflected this dynamic and joyful relationship during the portrait session. The genuine smiles, shared jokes, and tender moments captured on camera spoke volumes about their deep love.
